Blue eyes
We start with some of the most loved eye colors in the world – blue eyes. Let’s just not mention what effect they have if they are in combination with blond hair. Some people may think that if you have blue eyes, then you will need to wear only blue, especially on your eyes. This, however, is not true and if you do not wish the color of your eyeshadow to be lost and to look plain, forget about the blue eyeshadow palettes. The colors that will make your blue jewels pop are some of the earth tones, like brown, leaf orange or very light yellow with gold flecks. If you want to stay on the blue side, choose instead gray or purple eyeshadows. They are not the same as your eyes, and that is why they will complement them.
Green eyes
There is a reason why green is the color of the money. In some cultures people with green eyes were considered to be royalty, while in others, these kind of eyes were considered very dangerous. There is just some power in this type of eyes. And that is why is you want to make them even more powerful than they are naturally. Every woman, no matter what her eye color is, should have a more neutral eyeshadow color for different events which need lighter makeup, a daytime one, for example. Women with green eyes should not miss to have taupe shadow for this purpose. This earth tone will accentuate their eyes much more than any other eyeshadow color. For these other events, however, which do not need from you to be modest, but are all about one wild party, we recommend purple colors. They will be the perfect complementing color to your eyes, especially if they are dark ones. The darkest purple color you can find, the better it will match your eye color.
Brown eyes
Probably one of the most popular color around. Some women may not feel special if their eye color is one you can find easily, but this is not true. When you match the color of your eyes and their shape, you already have something really special and unique. Besides, brown color, being a neutral color, can be matched with every single color you can think of. Feel free to try different combinations. But still there are some colors, which can make your eyes pop even more. Do not miss to have blue and purple in your eyeshadow palette. Sometimes you can match more than one color. If, for example, you want to try some blue makeup, you can match it with some white in the inner part of the eyelids. And you can also wear brown makeup (compared to blue eyes which cannot wear shadows in the same color). Complement it with some gold shimmer.
Hazel eyes
If your eyes are hazel ones, then you will definitely need some essential makeup products. For example, women with green eyes look incredible with red lipstick. The two colors are in such a contrast that the combination is marvelous. But when it comes to the eye makeup, one should definitely avoid red. What you should have in your makeup box are colors like light plum, bone, brown, dusky gold, chocolate, and even some green. For a daytime makeup highlight the inner corners of your eyes with the lighter colors of the palette, like bone or goldish. Another makeup you can try, but this time for nighttime when you can wear darker colors, is with eggplant eyeshadow and black eyeliner. Eggplant color (or dark purple) will be in a complete contrast with your green eyes, and that is exactly why it will work like magic. Always remember that some of the best makeup looks were created when combining colors which are in full contrast. With this color you can easily make a smoky eye. Finish your night look with black eyeliner. And since black is always darker than any other color, do not worry that you will lose it in the purple.
